Transformation of the outbuildings of this property in Mayenne, which formerly housed a barn, into contemporary and cozy family lodgings. The two wings of the building were connected through the old garage by two large openings that echo the shape of the arch lintels of the doors. The different volumes were reconfigured by unifying the spaces to create a bright living area with smooth and intuitive circulation. The renovation was carried out using bio-based materials, including lime-hemp insulation on the interior façades of the house, stone slab flooring, and terracotta pavers. The furniture was custom-designed in oak panels to seamlessly integrate with the various spaces of the house.
